I’m pleased to announce the publication of “My Corner of Massachusetts,” an 80 page, limited edition, fine art photography book. This 12 x 12 inch coffee table format book, includes images I’ve been making in the open spaces of Middlesex and Essex counties of Massachusetts.

This corner of the state has provided me with a wealth of year-round photographic and hiking destinations for many years. A few locations stand out as a favorites of mine: Appleton Farms & Grass Rides (a property of The Trustees of Reservations), The Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary (a property of The Mass Audubon Society), Breakheart Reservation (a unique 600 acre woodland run by the Mass Dept of Conservation and Recreation), and the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island (managed by the US Fish & Game Dept.)

When the weather and light are not ideal for photography in the woods, I wander the seaport towns of Cape Ann; Manchester-by-the-Sea, Essex, Gloucester, and Rockport. Weathered fishing boats and piers in these old fishing communities provide endless photographic opportunities.

I invite you to preview the book here and on the Blurb site, where the book is produced using digital on-demand technology, and consider purchasing one or more copies for yourself, or as seasonal gifts for others. Your comments on the book are welcome on the blog and on the Blurb site.
